I tried to get the 2 little babies. I snuck a pic of lazy sleepy kitty Curly.

3 On A Nest

This morning I went out and sat on the porch to drink my coffee. All 3 baby robins were perched on the edge of the nest and flapping their wings. The tail wings are still too small for them to fly yet I think. I hope I don't miss them fly for the first time. We have named them the " Three Amigos".
Hopefully I will be able to get some more pics. I am so excited. Will keep you updated.

I See Three Baby Robins

We are having so much fun watching these little guys. About 5 days ago we could see white tufts and tiny beaks when mom was feeding them. Then!!! All of a sudden they are Huge. Do they really get that big that fast? They are dark now and when they open their mouths they are at least a good inch about the edge of the nest, from the angle we have. Mom had a big fight in my tree with some other birds that were aggravating the homestead. So dad came over and mom went in the for the kill. There were tons of leaves all over from the episode but it just goes to show, no one ever messes with a mom and her babies.

Precious Robin's Nest

We have been watching her for about 10 days now and we think she is feeding them now. Dad has been around too!

And there are 2 lovebirds too!!! Teeny Tiny.
